Fade-Resistant
Definition:
Fade-Resistant (also referred to as Lightfast or Colorfast) materials are resistant to change from aging or exposure to light. Fade-resistant papers contain dyes used to color the paper that are specially engineered to be color stable. Some paper mills add a protective coating to their fade-resistant papers to block UV light which can excellerate the fading process of dyes. Similarily, some inks are fade-resisstant.
