Term:
SPS
Definition:
The SPS mission is... ...to collect, review, organize, and distribute science-based preservation information to the scrapbook community through the publication of preservation guidelines, informational articles, and technical papers, and through the presentation of educational programs. Where do we go from here? The definition for lignin-free is enough, but we still need to solve the "photo-safe" and, indeed, "scrapbook-safe" questions. Up next are the SPS Scrapbook Preservation Guidelines for Paper, Plastics, Inks, and Adhesives. Photo-safe and scrapbook-safe will mean "meets the SPS guidelines."
